Air Algérie has signed a strategic codeshare agreement with Qatar Airways aimed at expanding its international network and offering passengers access to new destinations across Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Under the agreement, Air Algérie passengers will be able to travel on Qatar Airways flights to major Asian cities, including Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Hong Kong (China), and Muscat (Oman).
In return, Qatar Airways will gain access to seven domestic Algerian destinations—Tlemcen, Constantine, Annaba, Tamanrasset, Tindouf, and Timimoun—operated by Air Algérie from Algiers International Airport.
Ticket sales for the new routes began on November 3, 2025, with the first codeshare flight scheduled for November 6. The partnership marks a significant step in Air Algérie’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its international presence, expand its route network, and enhance service quality.
