China’s Ambassador to Tunisia, Wan Li, said Beijing is ready to support efforts to reduce pollution at the Gabes Chemical Complex. A Chinese company will soon send a technical team to help install gas-treatment equipment and address emissions in line with global environmental standards.
He noted that Tunisia’s priority is cutting pollution before upgrading equipment, stressing the need for continued coordination. The ambassador added that China has strong experience in environmental protection and is willing to share its expertise, with Chinese companies interested in future cooperation.
