Tunisian Foreign Minister Receives Algerian Parliamentary Delegation

Tunis, 26 November 2025 — Tunisia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, received a delegation from the Algerian Parliament, led by Mohamed El Hadi Tebessi, representing the Tunisian-Algerian Parliamentary Brotherhood and Friendship Group.

The meeting highlighted the historic brotherly ties between Tunisia and Algeria and reinforced both countries’ commitment to strengthening cooperation and neighborly relations. Minister Nafti also referenced preparations for the Tunisian-Algerian High Joint Committee, scheduled in Tunis from 9 to 12 December 2025.

He emphasized the crucial role of parliamentary institutions in advancing bilateral projects and ensuring effective cooperation, particularly amid shared security and economic challenges, while urging parliamentarians to defend their nations’ interests in regional and international forums.
