The Palestinian Embassy officially opened in the United Kingdom on Monday, more than three months after London recognized the State of Palestine, in what the Palestinian ambassador described as a “historic moment.”
Ambassador Husam Zomlot said the opening marks a significant milestone in British-Palestinian relations and in the long journey of the Palestinian people toward freedom and self-determination. The embassy is located in Hammersmith, west London, where the plaque reading “Embassy of the State of Palestine” was unveiled.
