Tunisia’s Defense Minister Receives U.S. AFRICOM Intelligence Chief

The Tunisian Minister of National Defense, Khaled Sehili, has received, on March 31, 2026, the US Ambassador in Tunis Bill Bazzi and Admiral Ben Snell, Director of Intelligence at the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), for talks on bilateral security cooperation.

The meeting focused on shared security objectives, ways to enhance regional stability, and opportunities to deepen the strategic partnership between Tunisia and the United States.

Both sides underscored the importance of continued coordination and collaboration in addressing evolving security challenges across the region.
