According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), more than 80 migrants are missing following the capsizing of their boat in the Mediterranean. Two bodies have since been recovered.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the IOM said that there were about 120 people aboard the boat, which set sail from the Libyan coastal town of Tajoura on Sunday. The boat subsequently capsized due to excessive flooding brought about by bad weather conditions.
