Moscow: Normalization with Washington Has Begun

Russia has announced the start of normalizing relations with the U.S. following talks in Saudi Arabia.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated Wednesday that discussions in Riyadh focused on Ukraine and reaffirmed Russia’s openness to dialogue based on mutual respect. He noted that U.S. President Donald Trump acknowledges NATO’s role in the conflict.

The Kremlin described the talks as a « significant step » toward resolving the Ukraine war, with both sides showing the political will for a peaceful settlement.
