Spanish Police Discover Drug-Smuggling Tunnel Between Morocco and Ceuta

Spanish police have uncovered a secret tunnel linking Moroccan territory to Ceuta, suspected of being used for hashish smuggling.

The tunnel, at least 50 meters long and 12 meters underground, was found in a warehouse during an operation targeting drug trafficking gangs. Authorities described it as « narrow and reinforced with wood. »

The three-week crackdown resulted in 14 arrests, including two police officers, and the seizure of 6,000 kilograms of drugs.
