Tunisia and China Boost Agricultural Ties

On Monday, March 17, 2025, Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries, Ezzeddine Ben Sheikh, met with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Tunisia, Li Wan. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.

Minister Ben Sheikh reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to advancing collaboration, particularly in technology transfer, knowledge development, scientific research valorization, and sustainable resource management amid climate change challenges.

For his part, Ambassador Li Wan expressed China’s readiness to further enhance bilateral cooperation in various areas of mutual interest.
