Egypt Signs Major Investment Deal with China

Egypt’s Suez Canal Economic Zone Authority signed a land-use agreement with Chinese company Shin Feng – Egypt to establish a $1.65 billion industrial complex in Ain Sokhna.

The 3.75 million square meter complex will focus on auto parts manufacturing, industrial components, and engineering machinery. It will include nine factories, a solid waste treatment facility, and an R&D center.

The project, set for completion in two phases over five years, is expected to create 8,000 direct jobs. It aligns with Egypt’s Vision 2030 to boost industrial growth, attract foreign investment, and enhance exports.
