Tunisia and UAE to Enhance Health Sector Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, April 7, 2025 – The Minister of Health of the United Arab Emirates Abdul Rahman bin Mohammed Al-Owais, expressed his country’s readiness to invest in Tunisia’s health sector during a meeting with the Tunisian Minister of Health, Mostapha Ferjani, on the sidelines of the World Local Production Forum organized by the WHO in Abu Dhabi.

The two health ministers agreed to move toward implementation, by preparing joint programs and organizing field visits aimed at achieving tangible outcomes that benefit both countries’ health systems.

They also expressed a shared desire to strengthen cooperation in pharmaceutical industries, vaccine production, and advanced health technologies, particularly artificial intelligence and genomic medicine.
