Tunisia, U.S. Deepen Cooperation in Security, Economy, and Research

Tunis, April 30, 2025 The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ali Nafti, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the United States of America in Tunisia, Joey Hood, to discuss ways to strengthen the enduring relationship between their two countries and their historic partnership.

The conversation included a discussion about the nearly 200 years of friendship and cooperation between the U.S. and Tunisia, with both parties affirming their mutual desire to strengthen this rich partnership in the fields of security, trade, economic development, higher education, science, and technology.
