The American Billionaire Bill Gates has vowed to give away almost all of his wealth in the next 20 years, directing nearly $200 billion to the poorest people in the world through the Gates Foundation. Amid global cuts in foreign aid, Gates said he wants to ensure his legacy isn’t that he “died rich.”
The 69-year-old Microsoft co-founder, said he intends to dissolve the foundation by December 31, 2045 thus, pushing actions to help impoverished people, and fight disease. In the last 23 years, the foundation has now spent $53.8 billion on health, education, and development activities.
