At the 78th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Tunisian Minister of Health Ali Mrabet held bilateral meetings with health ministers from Algeria, Kuwait, China, Japan, South Korea, Jordan, and Slovenia to discuss enhancing cooperation in the areas of health manufacturing, health training, health digitalization, and universal health coverage, according to a statement by the Ministry of Health.
He promoted the “One Health” conference that Tunisia will host on June 14–15, 2025 and emphasized the need for jointly supporting the success of this Assembly, following the adoption of the International Pandemic Prevention Agreement—an initiative of President Kais Saied.
The Minister also met with officials from the African Medicines Agency, the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, and Oxford University to discuss support for Tunisia’s vaccine production, community health, and medical training efforts.
