Tunisia: Dam Fill Levels Rise Above 41%

As of May 27, 2025, the fill rate of Tunisian dams reached approximately 41.2%, equivalent to 779.527 million cubic meters. This marks a significant increase compared to 33.2% on the same period in 2024, reflecting a rise of 8.0%, according to the Tunisian Water Observatory.

The Observatory described the increase in dam levels as a positive indicator, while emphasizing that challenges remain ahead.
