Tunisia, Egypt Discuss Strengthening Pharmaceutical Cooperation

On June 24, 2025, Tunisian Minister of Health Dr. Mustapha Ferjani met with Dr. Ali El-Ghamrawy, Head of the Egyptian Drug Authority, on the sidelines of the Africa Health ExCon in Cairo.

The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in pharmaceutical fields, including drug registration, mutual recognition, and coordination within regional and international health bodies.

The two sides also discussed exchanging successful experiences in pharmaceutical regulation and boosting local drug manufacturing, highlighting their shared commitment to regional health sovereignty.
