Tunisian swimmer and world champion Ahmed Jaouadi claimed the gold medal in the 1500m freestyle final at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships currently being held in Singapore.
Jaouadi secured first place with an impressive time of 14:34.41, edging out Germany’s Sven Schwarz, who finished second with 14:35.69, and American Bobby Finke, who came in third at 14:36.60.
This marks Jaouadi’s second gold medal at this year’s championships, following his victory in the 800m freestyle last Wednesday, where he clocked 7:36.88.
