Microsoft Accused of Aiding Israeli Military in Mass Surveillance of Palestinians

A joint investigation by The Guardian, +972 Magazine, and Local Call has uncovered a large-scale surveillance program allegedly involving the Israeli military and U.S. tech giant Microsoft.

The report claims that Israel’s Unit 8200, an elite military intelligence unit, partnered with Microsoft to record, store, and analyze millions of phone calls from Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank using the Azure cloud platform.
