Tunisian Head of Government Departs for Japan to Attend TICAD 9 Summit

Tunisian Head of Government, Sara Zaafrani Zenzeri, departed Tunis on Monday for Yokohama, Japan, on an official visit to participate in the Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9).

The summit, held from 20 to 22 August 2025, will take place under the theme “Cooperation for Innovative Solutions with Africa.”

The event will bring together the Japanese Prime Minister alongside African heads of state and government. During the conference, the Tunisian Head of Government is scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with Japanese officials and leaders from African countries.

She is accompanied on this visit by senior officials from the government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad.
