Assassination Attempt on Bashar al-Assad in Moscow

The British newspaper The Sun revealed that former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was the target of an assassination attempt in Russia through poisoning last Sunday.

According to the report, Assad sought urgent medical assistance after experiencing symptoms of suffocation and persistent coughing. Medical tests reportedly confirmed the presence of a toxic substance in his body.

The newspaper noted that Assad received treatment in his apartment, and his condition stabilized by Monday.
