Tunisia Condemns Israeli Aggression in Jenin, and Calls for International Action

Tunisia has strongly condemned the Israeli military’s attack on the Jenin camp in the West Bank, calling it a blatant aggression that undermines truce efforts and risks escalating violence, according to a statement by the Tunisian Foreign Minsitry.

Tunisia accused the occupation forces of attempting to replicate the violence seen in Gaza across other Palestinian territories, and urged the international community to pressure Israel to halt its military operations in the West Bank, particularly in Jenin, to preserve the truce and prevent further confrontations.

Tunisia reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s struggle for their legitimate rights, including self-determination and the establishment of an independent, sovereign state with Jerusalem as its capital, according to the same source.
