Tunisia Rises in 2025 World Happiness Index

Tunisia ranked 113th out of 147 countries in the 2025 World Happiness Index, improving by two spots from 115th in 2024.

Globally, Finland retained its top position for the eighth consecutive year, while Afghanistan ranked last.

In the Arab world, the UAE (21st), Kuwait (30th), and Saudi Arabia (32nd) led the rankings. Within North Africa, Libya (79th) topped the region, followed by Algeria (84th), Morocco (112th), Tunisia (113th), and Mauritania (114th).

The index evaluates happiness based on key factors measuring well-being and quality of life worldwide.
