Tunisian Foreign Minister Meets NATO Official to Discuss Strengthening Cooperation

Tunis, April 7, 2025 – Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, met at the ministry’s headquarters, with Javier Colomina, NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy and Special Representative for the Southern Neighborhood, who is on a working visit to Tunisia from April 7 to 8.

The meeting focused on reviewing the state of Tunisia–NATO dialogue, thirty years after its launch, and exploring ways to deepen and expand bilateral and regional cooperation. Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening the partnership to better address current regional challenges.

Discussions also underscored the shared commitment to promoting regional and global security, based on respect for national sovereignty, equitable relations, and the sovereign choices of states.
