Zollner Elektronik to Invest Over 51 Million Dinars in Tunisia

On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Tunisia’s Minister of Industry, Mines, and Energy, Fatma Thabet Chiboub, met with a delegation from the German group Zollner Elektronik, led by board member Markus Aschenbrenner, to discuss expanding the group’s investment in Tunisia.

Aschenbrenner presented the company’s new investment strategy, including a high-tech project in Novation City valued at approximately 51 million dinars. The project will cover 11 hectares and is expected to create 3,400 jobs by 2030.

Zollner Elektronik, a European leader in electronic components for the automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors, operates 25 branches worldwide and employs over 13,000 people. Its Tunisia branch—the only one in Africa—has two sites: one in Béja (since 2007) and another in the Sousse industrial zone.
