Tunisian Dinar Strengthens, Trades Below 3 to the Dollar

The Tunisian dinar has strengthened against the US dollar, dropping to 2.99 dinars per dollar as of April 15, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Tunisia. This marks the first time since 2022 that the exchange rate has fallen below the 3-dinar threshold.

Currently, 1 euro is traded at 3.39 dinars. Financial analyst Bassem Neifar explained that the improvement in the dinar’s value is primarily linked to global market trends, noting that the exchange rate between the dollar and euro in Tunisia reflects the rate observed in international markets.
