Tunisia and Italy Agree to Strengthen Tourism Cooperation

On May 27, 2025, Tunisian Minister of Tourism Sofiene Tekaia met with a delegation from the Italian Federation of Tourism and Hospitality, led by Italy’s Ambassador to Tunisia, Alessandro Prunas.

The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation in tourism training and employment, supporting youth integration into the job market, and enhancing investment and professional partnerships.

Key outcomes included plans for a joint training program, a cooperation agreement between tourism training agencies, the integration of Italian language in Tunisian training programs, and organizing joint cultural events to promote shared heritage.
