Tunisian and Mauritanian Presidents Reaffirm Strong Bilateral Relations

On the evening of Thursday, May 29, Tunisian President Kaïs Saïed had a phone call with the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, to exchange congratulations following the election of the Mauritanian candidate, Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, as President of the African Development Bank, stated the Tunisian Presidency.

This conversation was also an opportunity to reaffirm the strong historical ties between the two countries and their shared commitment to further strengthening cooperation, as well as advancing prosperity, security, and stability across the African continent.
