Severe Heatwave Expected in Tunisia, Three Governorates Affected

Tunisia is bracing for an intense heatwave over the coming days, according to geography and climate expert Amer Bahbah.

Temperatures are expected to rise sharply from Wednesday, reaching around 40°C and persisting through Thursday before easing on Friday, except in the far southern desert areas.

The heatwave will particularly affect the governorates of Tozeur, Kebili, and Kairouan, where record temperatures are anticipated this August.
