5.3-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Cyprus

A 5.3-magnitude earthquake hit Cyprus on Wednesday morning, with light tremors felt along Lebanon’s coast.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre, the quake occurred around 11:31 a.m. local time, about 20 kilometers northeast of the city of Paphos.
