Tunisia and Romania Sign Cultural Cooperation Program

Tunis, November 12, 2025 – Tunisia and Romania signed a cultural cooperation program aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and promoting cultural, artistic, and scientific exchange.

The agreement was signed by Tunisian Minister of Cultural Affairs Amina Srarfi and Romanian Minister of Culture Andraș István Demeter, in the presence of Romania’s ambassador to Tunisia and senior officials from the ministry.

The program seeks to enhance friendship and collaboration between the two countries through initiatives in folk arts, ethnography, music, and dance.

It also includes cooperation in theater, cinema, and heritage preservation, with plans for joint training workshops, artistic exchanges, and participation in cultural festivals held in both nations.
