Tunisia reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination, expressing satisfaction with the ceasefire agreement in Gaza after two years of devastating violence.
In a statement, Tunisia praised the resilience of the Palestinian people and urged the international community to ensure the truce’s sustainability, lift the blockade on Gaza, and expedite humanitarian aid and reconstruction.
The country also warned against Israeli violations of the agreement and called for accountability for war crimes. Tunisia renewed its firm support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
