Tunisian Health Minister Meets France’s Minister of AI and Digital Affairs

Tunisian Minister of Health Dr. Mostafa Ferjani held a working session on Friday, 14 November 2025, with France’s Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs, Anne Le Henanff, on the sidelines of the Marseille AI Forum.

Dr. Ferjani presented an overview of Tunisia’s ongoing AI projects in the health sector, particularly those aimed at improving hospital infrastructure and expanding access to services.

The two sides reached a preliminary agreement to:

  • Launch a joint AI hub for health solutions tailored to Africa.
  • Prepare a regional summit on AI and health to be hosted by Tunisia in 2026.
  • Schedule upcoming bilateral meetings between both health ministries to advance shared initiatives.
