The Confederation of African Football announced Wednesday that Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi has won the 2025 African Ballon d’Or. He claimed the award after competing against Egypt’s Mohamed Salah and Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen.
Hakimi delivered an outstanding season with Paris Saint-Germain, playing a crucial role in the club’s historic 2025 UEFA Champions League triumph—the first in PSG’s history. He also helped secure the French league and cup double, along with the UEFA Super Cup title.
