The 49th Conference of Arab Police and Security Leaders convened in Tunis on Wednesday, 3 December 2025. Minister of the Interior Khaled Ennouri formally opened the event at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.
The conference gathered numerous heads and members of accredited Arab diplomatic missions in Tunisia, alongside representatives of international, regional, and Arab organizations, including INTERPOL, Naif Arab University for Security Sciences, and senior security officials from Arab states.
In his opening speech, Minister Ennouri emphasized Tunisia’s ongoing commitment to strengthening cooperative mechanisms and promoting joint Arab security efforts. He highlighted the importance of the conference as a renewed opportunity to coordinate strategies, share perspectives, and develop unified positions on pressing security issues that affect the stability, safety, and territorial integrity of Arab nations.
