Tunisia, Oman: Exploring New Areas of Cooperation

The Tunisian President Kais Saied received Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, on Saturday, 6 December, at Carthage Palace.

Highlighting the historic ties between Tunisia and Oman, President Saied recalled milestones such as the school founded in Muscat by Tunisian educator Mohamed Ali Bouzidah and the 1973 visit of the late Sultan Qaboos bin Said.

He noted that bilateral cooperation, established since the 1970s in education, culture, training, health, and justice, is ready to expand into new areas including economy, trade, investment, and human resources. President Saied emphasized that today’s global challenges call for closer partnership to ensure both nations remain active in shaping the future.
