The United States has handed over security equipments worth $1.4 million to Tunisia as part of its counterterrorism support program. The handover ceremony was attended by U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia Bill Bazzi.
In a statement published on its official page, the U.S. Embassy in Tunis said the initiative falls within ongoing security cooperation efforts between the two countries and aims to strengthen Tunisia’s capabilities in addressing security threats.
The embassy added that the delivery reflects the strength of the enduring security partnership between the United States and Tunisia, contributing to enhanced security for both countries and supporting regional stability.
