Tunisia Welcomes Newly Appointed Portuguese Ambassador

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Mohamed Ali Nafti received on Thursday at the Ministry’s headquarters the newly appointed Ambassador of the Portuguese Republic to Tunisia, Jorge Aires Rosa de Oliveira, who presented a copy of his credentials.

During the meeting, the Foreign Minister expressed his satisfaction with the long-standing relations of friendship and cooperation between Tunisia and Portugal, reaffirming the shared desire to further strengthen and develop bilateral ties. He emphasized the importance of boosting high-level bilateral visits and expanding cooperation and partnership between the two countries across various fields, according to a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
