Djibouti Health Minister on Official Visit to Tunis

On February 5, 2026, Djibouti’s Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Robleh Abdallah, visited Tunis to strengthen health cooperation with Tunisia. He was received by Tunisia’s Minister of Health, Dr. Mustafa Farjani, during an official meeting highlighting innovative digital health initiatives, including telemedicine, remote diagnostics, the “Najda” platform, and genomic medicine research.

The visit was concluded by the signing of a memorandum of understanding to advance strategic collaboration in training, scientific research, hospital twinning programs, organ transplantation, interventional cardiology, precision surgery, and emergency medicine.

Dr. Robleh Abdallah praised Tunisia’s longstanding support for Djibouti’s health sector through medical training and practical placements, while Dr. Farjani emphasized the progress and strength of Tunisia’s healthcare system and ongoing efforts to enhance medical services across the country.
