Tunisian Head of Parliament Meets Indian Ambassador to Boost Cooperation

The Head of Tunisian Parliament, Ibrahim Bouderbala, reaffirmed the depth of Tunisian-Indian relations during a meeting held on Monday at Bardo Palace with India’s Ambassador to Tunisia, Devyani Uttam Khobragade.

According to a statement by the Parliament, Bouderbala highlighted the historical roots of ties between Tunisia and India, noting the strong appreciation enjoyed by India among the Tunisian people for its role in promoting global peace, security, and dialogue among nations.

He expressed hope for further strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in economic, social, academic, and cultural fields, and stressed the readiness of the legislative institution to support government efforts aimed at advancing cooperation through initiatives that enhance relations between the two countries.
