Tunisian-Omani Cultural Cooperation Discussed

On January 28, 2025, Tunisia’s Minister of Cultural Affairs, Amina Srarfiaa, met with Omani Ambassador Hilal bin Abdullah Al-Sinani, to enhance cultural ties.

Discussions focused on preserving heritage, including the restoration of historical landmarks in Kairouan, supported by Oman’s financial grant. Both parties emphasized expertise exchange in restoration and training and agreed on mutual participation in upcoming cultural events, such as the Tunis International Book Fair and the Muscat International Book Fair.

The meeting reaffirmed the strong cultural bond between Tunisia and Oman and their shared commitment to heritage and cultural development.
