Tunisian Parliament Approves Loan Agreement with the African Development Bank

The plenary session of the Assembly of the People’s Representatives approved on Monday, January 3, 2025, the draft law ratifying the loan agreement signed on September 10, 2024, between the Republic of Tunisia and the African Development Bank.

The loan aims to support the financing of the Program for Enhancing Business Competitiveness and Economic Empowerment through Job Creation (Law No. 84/2024).

The bill was passed with 67 votes in favor, 17 abstentions, and 20 votes against.
