Foreign Minister Receives Vatican Ambassador to Tunisia

On February 6, 2025, Mohamed Ali Nafti, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, received Kuryan Mathew Vayalunkal, the Vatican Ambassador to Tunisia, with Nicholas Lhernould, Archbishop of Tunisia, also in attendance.

The meeting highlighted the strong diplomatic relations between Tunisia and the Vatican, with the minister stressing Tunisia’s commitment to promoting values of tolerance, understanding, and peaceful coexistence among all religions. He also confirmed Tunisia’s support for the smooth operation of Catholic institutions in the country.
