Tunisian President Kais Saied welcomed Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud, at Carthage Palace on February 16, 2025. The meeting was part of the 42nd session of the Arab Interior Ministers Council in Tunisia, according to a statement by the Tunisian Presidency.
President Saied highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Tunisia and Saudi Arabia, emphasizing cooperation across various sectors. Prince Abdulaziz presented President Saied with a commemorative shield, along with Mohammed bin Ali Koman, Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council.
The meeting also focused on enhancing collaboration to address emerging security challenges in the region.
