Tunisia participated in the 35th edition of the Lisbon International Tourism Fair (BTL 2025), held from March 12 to 16, 2025. The event aimed to promote Tunisia as a prime travel destination.
As part of its participation, Tunisia organized a special day to celebrate the island of Djerba, often referred to as the jewel of Tunisian tourism and a favorite destination for Portuguese travelers.
Notably, the number of Portuguese tourists visiting Tunisia in 2024 exceeded 50,000, reflecting a 77% increase compared to 2019.
