Tunisia and Rwanda Discuss Strengthening Bilateral and Economic Ties

Tunisian Foreign Minister Mohamed Ali Nafti held a phone call on Thursday with his Rwandan counterpart, Olivier J.P. Nduhungirehe, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations.

Marking 50 years of diplomatic ties, Nafti reaffirmed Tunisia’s commitment to expanding economic partnerships and trade, leveraging opportunities from AfCFTA and COMESA.

The ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues, security in Africa, and African Union reforms. They agreed to enhance cooperation within continental and global organizations and support each other’s candidates in international institutions.
