Libya’s Rescue Coordination Center announced on Sunday, April 13, 2025, that a boat carrying 67 irregular migrants has drifted into Tunisian territorial waters near the coast of Sfax.
The vessel had set off from Libya, heading toward the Italian coast. According to Libyan authorities, the situation on board is extremely critical. The boat is currently being monitored by both Tunisian and Italian coast guards, who are coordinating efforts to rescue the passengers.
