Algeria and Ethiopia Sign 13 Agreements to Boost Economic Partnership

As part of efforts to strengthen economic cooperation, Algeria and Ethiopia signed 13 agreements, memorandums of understanding, and executive programs covering a wide range of sectors.

The agreements span key areas including pharmaceutical industry, investment promotion, energy and mining, space sciences, higher education, culture, youth, and sports.

The signing took place during the fifth session of the Algeria-Ethiopia Joint Commission, co-chaired by Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf and his Ethiopian counterpart Gedion Timotheos.

According to a statement from the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two ministers also held a private meeting where they discussed ways to further advance the strategic partnership between the two nations and exchanged views on major regional and international issues.
