Tunisia and Madagascar Sign Tourism and Handicrafts Cooperation Agreement

On May 9, 2025, Tunisia and Madagascar signed their first cooperation agreement in tourism and handicrafts, led by tourism Ministers Sofiene Tekaia and Viviane Dewa. The agreement aims to boost investment, exchange expertise, and support sustainable development between the two countries.

The agreement also includes joint projects, training programs, and shared promotion of artisanal products, stated the Tunisian Tourism Ministry.

Both ministers praised the initiative as a key step toward stronger African cooperation and deeper economic and cultural ties.
