Tunisian-Mauritanian Business Forum Kicks Off in Nouakchott

On May 26, 2025, Tunisian Minister of Trade and Export Development, Samir Saied, inaugurated the Tunisian-Mauritanian Business Forum in Nouakchott under the theme “Effective and Sustainable Partnership, »  according to CEPEX on its Facebook official page.

This business event gathered over 200 Mauritanian economic actors and 40 Tunisian business leaders from sectors such as food industries, medical equipment, construction, digital services, and more.

Organized by CEPEX and the Tunisian Embassy in Nouakchott, in collaboration with the Mauritanian Chamber of Commerce, the forum aims to boost bilateral trade, encourage joint investment, and explore new avenues of cooperation.

Trade between Tunisia and Mauritania reached $21 million in 2024, said Minister Saied. He emphasized the need to enhance trade flows, especially in promising sectors like agri-food, pharmaceuticals, digital services, infrastructure, and higher education.
