Ons Jabeur Drops to World No. 71

Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur has fallen 12 places to rank 71st in the latest WTA rankings released on Monday.

The drop comes after her early exit from Wimbledon, where she was forced to retire in the first round against Bulgaria’s Viktoriya Tomova due to injury, trailing 6-7, 0-2 at the time.

In the top 10 rankings, Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka remains world No. 1, followed by American Coco Gauff. Poland’s Iga Świątek, the new Wimbledon champion, climbed to third, pushing Jessica Pegula to fourth. Russia’s Mirra Andreeva rose to fifth, ahead of China’s Qinwen Zheng in sixth.
